Teaching Philosophy
Teaching and learning require collaboration between the teacher and the student. The teacher’s job is to show the student the way, to break down concepts into their component parts and to put them together again. By connecting the dots the teacher shows the student how the parts create the whole. The teacher creates the learning environment that allows the student to learn according to his/her own learning style. Learning should be a challenge, a stretch and should be filled with “ah-ha” moments of discovery.
